Adventure Weekends

Reaching Outdoors offers high quality weekend adventures for young men that will focus on the importance of knowing God, hunting & fishing skills, and outdoor education. These hunting, fishing and camping trips for youth occur on weekends throughout the year. The number of youth participants are typically 6-8 youth depending on Volunteer Guide availability and lodging, with the ratio 1 Volunteer Guide to every 2 kids. Weekend adventure trips allow youth participants to make memories of a lifetime and enjoy unforgettable experiences together. Our campfire devotions and life discussions allow kids to grow in their knowledge of the Lord and build their Faith as believers. The personal interaction with our vetted and trained Volunteer Guides along with our campfire devotions, are the 'Heart' of our Reaching Outdoors Ministry! Sharing a hunt, sharing a campfire, sharing stories, and sharing our knowledge of God, this is where we grow our Faith!

Life Skills

Life Skills group meetings are a time of gathering and fellowship for both youth participants and their families to learn a life skill and hear a Biblical devotion related to the skill. These meetings help kids find their voice and possibly discover career-shaping interests that contribute to their community or future families. These are lessons of heritage and culture that could last generations to come! From culinary education, meat processing, Hunter's Education, gardening, project building, survival skills and more. Reaching Outdoors is education driven with a focus on teaching youth and their families Life Skills that will have a generational impact.

Adventure Camps

Reaching Outdoors Adventure Camps are all-inclusive camps that focus on hunting, fishing and shooting sports education for young men ages 9 to 17. Our camps are designed for small group activities that focus on on the personal needs and discipleship of young men. Each session typically has 14 kids or less. Kids show up as strangers and leave as friends with an experience they will not have at any other camp. Kids learn a variety of outdoor skills plus learn more about their creator through small group breakouts and campfire discussions that help draw them closer to God. All of our summer camps are staffed by vetted and trained leaders.
