Working together to produce good fruit by 'Reaching Outdoors' into God's creation.

Reaching Outdoors of Texas has been birthed by God through the vision of helping youth disconnect from technology and the everyday struggles of life and help them engage in God’s creation, while discovering new adventures and creating lifelong memories. The Reaching Outdoors’ programs focus on young men between the ages of 8 to 18, taking aim to educate, disciple and establish Biblical principles in their daily lives. Reaching Outdoors is an independent, non-denomination ministry founded on the core values of Kingdom principles based on our Statement of Faith. 

Reaching Outdoors allows communities and churches to identify both parents and their kids who might need to disengage from the distractions of the world and get outdoors to discover their true identity in Christ. While learning how to apply Biblical Principles into their relationships, we are building a community for Christ. Reaching Outdoors is a 501c3 charitable organization.

Statement of Faith

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
• We believe salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony.
• We believe that Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the gospel throughout the world and to disciple people from every nation.

Goals

• Educate youth with life Skills, such as hunting, fishing, survival knowledge and shooting sports education.
• Help kids engage in God’s creation, discover new adventures, and create lifelong memories.
• Equip and empower young men with the Truth – God’s Word.
• Encourage, mentor, and disciple men by sharing how to establish Biblical principles within their daily walk.
• Build up and train leaders and volunteers in communities to help fulfill the mission of Reaching Outdoors.

Vision

By sharing the Word of God through outdoor recreation and education, Reaching Outdoors is a Great Commission ministry making disciples of youth and building a rooted foundation for Christ within their families and their community. With a rooted foundation in Christ, they too will produce good fruit. ~ Matthew 7:20
